The Oman Drydock Company (ODC) has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer of its company.
Said bin Homoud Al Mawali will succeed Stephan Aumann.
The position will require the CEO to head corporate strategies, as well as overall policies and procedures.
Al Mawali will be responsible for ensuring all crucial employees contribute constructively to the firm’s development, the Oman Daily Observer claims.
Prior to working for ODC, Al Mawali had been employed by the Oman Tank Terminal Company since February 2014, bestowing leadership and governance to the Executive Manager.
“I am excited to take on the role of CEO at ODC and work with the new management team that will lead the ship repair services in Oman into the future,” Al Mawali reported on his new position.
“The prospects for ODC are bright and I look forward to use the collective experience of the ODC team to deliver excellence in marketing, projects execution, financial sustainability and in general any focus area that make our customers more satisfied.”
Al Mawali has 21 years of experience with construction, asset management, plant operations, supply chain, cost control, business development, merger, and acquisitions.
He has worked for Petroleum Development Oman, Occidental Oman, Sohar Aluminium, and Oman Oil Company.
