Mark Utting has recently moved from Australia to undertake the role of Country Manager for Turner & Townsend in Switzerland., having previously worked within Turner & Townsend’s Thinc, part of the real estate division within Turner & Townsend’s Australia division.

Graduating from the University of South Australia in 1997, Utting has worked in a number of divisions and projects, such as the $1.2 billion redevelopment of the Darwin Waterfront, the restoration to Westminster Abbey Chapter House in London, UK and the Tonsley Revelopment within Adelaide.

Key areas of focus have been project management services and objectives, development of various internal and external teams and stakeholder management.

Mark Utting, said, “I’m excited to be joining the business in Switzerland, a particularly fast-growing region for Turner & Townsend and one which contains a very unique set of challenges including diversity in culture, language and geography.

“The scale of global business operations within Switzerland is also incredible, as a result of Swiss tax conditions providing great incentives for international businesses to invest.

I’m confident that we can continue to support the Swiss market by providing leading edge solutions for complex project and programme delivery.”

Utting will now focus on developing Turner & Townsend’s Switzerland division, which has currently seen a total income growth of 50 percent between 2014/2015 and 2015/2016, alongside growth in the entire European market.
