The Construction Technology Summit, co-hosted by Aconex and the Victorian government, has taken place in Melbourne, Australia.

The event provided an opportunity for contractors, developers and consultants to connect with construction technology innovators.

Aconex CEO Leigh Jasper said: “Thanks to a culture of innovation and collaboration that has driven the Australian construction industry, contractors and developers are working with founders of digital construction start-ups to deliver capital projects more efficiently. At the same time, Australian digital technology companies are building a new engine of growth for the country’s economy.”

SafetyCulture CEO Luke Anear spoke at the event, on a panel about the future of field processes and how technology can have a positive impact on the construction industry by encouraging a more proactive culture around safety.
