Following PlanRadar’s recent $30m Series A funding we take a look at this rapidly expanding ConTech company.
The funding round was led by New York-based software investors Insight Partners, along with contributions from e.ventures and existing investors Cavalry Ventures, Berliner Volksbank Ventures and aws Gründerfonds.
The Vienna-headquartered firm opened its first international offices in the UK and Croatia last year.
PlanRadar’s software allows developers to clearly communicate and document construction projects as they unfold, saving its customers across Europe more than seven hours in administrative time each week and a combined €500m in costs.
The investment will be put into the firm’s expansion into nine new markets globally and deepen its presence in markets where it’s already operating.
The tagline for this mobile application is ‘Simplify Your Construction Site’. With no training required, this app is designed to consolidate building project data and bring clarify to stakeholders.
Tickets are created with the mobile app directly on the spot or via the web application from your office. If you create a ticket, you can add attributes such as the contractor, title, priority and completion date. Furthermore, you can add the plan status, pictures, text, or voice memos to each ticket. A drawing function also allows you to add annotations to plans and images.
Each project participant, from general contractors to tradesmen, can record defects and assign a ticket to the responsible person. This person will receive an automatic notification as soon as the ticket has been created. Direct communication not only reduces the error rate when documenting tasks but also saves time and costs as part of your quality assurance processes.
PlanRadar bundles all information on project status, construction documentation and defect management for you. This not only saves you valuable time after completing the construction project but also during the checking process. PlanRadar structures all text annotations, photos and voice memos. In just a few clicks, you can export the data and statistics you need.
CONFIGURABLE PDF REPORTS
You can export project data, statistics, reports and tickets at any time. PlanRadar lets you export data as a PDF or Microsoft Excel file. You can also apply filters while exporting data, which allows you to only export the relevant data you need. PDF exports can be generated with your own company logo, free text and project photos.
PlanRadar also works in offline mode. If you don’t have internet access on your mobile device, you can still use all PlanRadar features as usual. When you get back online, PlanRadar automatically updates all changes in the cloud and on all mobile devices.
Thanks to user-definable fields, PlanRadar gives you individual freedom easily configure project-specific ticket and report templates. Very straightforward to create via with drag & drop method. Easily maintain contractually agreed upon project standards.
