The global construction risk manager, Hill International, has appointed Imad B. Ghantous as its new Senior Vice President of International Business Development, based in the Dubai office.

Prior to his new position, Ghantous has worked as the Regional Director of Operations of EMEA at International Bechtel co. Ltd.

He has also served as AECOM’s Senior Vice President and managing Director, as well as the Managing Director for Hyder Consulting Engineer’s (Arcadis) Property Sector Manging Director.

“We are excited to add a professional of this caliber to our organization,” commented Paul Evans, Interim Chief Executive Officer at Hill International.

Ghantous got a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of London, followed by a Master’s Degree and an Engineering Degree in Construction and Project Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The new Senior Vice President also attended courses at Harvard University, studying Macro an Micro Economics and Financial Accounting.

Ghantous is an associate at the American Association of Civil Engineers, and the Institute of Civil Engineers based in the UK, as well as being a member of the American Association of Cost Engineers, the Society of American Cost Engineers, the Project Management Institute, the Association of Engineers in Lebanon, and the Institute of Civil Engineers in Kuwait.
