The MBF Group has agreed to establish an integrated medical city within the 100,000-square metre Gulberg Greens in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad according to state news agency Wam.

The agreement with Ibchez Housing and Nixon will include the construction of a hospital providing medical services at international standards.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Faisal Al Qassimi, Founder and Owner of the MBF Group, said that the project will include a 400-bed university hospital that will offer the most advanced levels of healthcare services.

The medical city will also feature the country’s first medical mall, therapeutic and recreational areas, a regional cardiology centre, and an orthopaedic centre with investments for the medical city reaching $970 million.
